Terms

1The basics

FM Manga turns stories into manga chapters. “We”, “us” and “our” mean the people who run it. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

What we keep about you, and why, is on the Privacy page.

2Who can use it

You must be 13 or older to use the site. To buy tokens, you must be 18 or older, or have a parent’s or guardian’s permission.

3Your account

One account per person. Keep your sign-in safe: what happens on your account is your responsibility. If you lose access to your account, we may not be able to get it back for you.

We can suspend or close any account that breaks these terms.

4Tokens

Tokens are prepaid credit for making chapters. The price of tokens is shown before you pay, and what a chapter costs in tokens is shown before you make it.

Tokens have no cash value. They can’t be sold, moved to another account, or exchanged for money.

Tokens we give away — prizes, codes, offers — can be taken back if they were gained by breaking these terms. If we close an account for breaking these terms, its tokens are lost.

5Refunds

Tokens arrive in your account the moment you pay, so bought tokens are not refunded.

If a chapter fails, or is stopped before it’s finished, the tokens it used come back to your account by themselves. A chapter counts as failed only when the site doesn’t finish it — not when it comes out differently from what you imagined.

If you were charged by mistake — twice for the same purchase, say — write to us and we’ll put it right.

If you reverse a payment through PayPal or your bank for tokens you received, we may close your account.

6Your stories and chapters

What you write is yours, and so are the chapters made from it, as far as the law allows.

Chapters are public: anyone can read them on the site. The words you type to make a chapter stay private unless you choose to share them. We may show a title and a short summary alongside each chapter.

By making a chapter, you give us free, worldwide permission to store it, show it on the site, feature it (for example as the picture on the front page), use it to show what the site does, and use it to improve how we make chapters.

7What you can’t do

• Make anything illegal.
• Make anything sexual involving anyone under 18.
• Make anything meant to harass, threaten, or impersonate a real person.
• Try to break, overload, or copy the site, or use scripts or bots to work it.

You’re responsible for what you write and what you ask the site to make. We can refuse, stop, or remove anything, at any time.

8How chapters are made

Chapters are made automatically. Pictures and words can come out wrong, odd, or different from what you had in mind.

We don’t promise any particular result, how long a chapter takes, or that the site will always be available. Features and prices can change, and any part of the site can be paused or stopped.

9Someone else’s rights

If you believe something on the site uses your work or your likeness without permission, write to us. We’ll look at it, and we may take it down.

10Limits

The site is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren’t responsible for indirect losses, and the most we owe anyone, for anything, is the greater of what they paid us in the 3 months before the claim, or US$100.

11Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new terms.
